Having a marketing strategy is a great plan of attack for the slump that comes after tax season. I have used direct mail that is very targeted such as trigger leads to capture those who have already started shopping or OTL (on-time leads) that target customers that have a high interest rate or high payment and have had the loan for 2-3 years (remember 2009-2010?) to initiate new customers. I have a saying that I always told me salespeople "the car gods will send you 50% the customers you need, you have to get out and find the other 50%". Being proactive is the only way to control your destiny and income.
