Purchase Bankrupt or Probate Accounts

Postby joreilly.11031 » Mon May 20, 2013 7:52 pm

Ascension Capital Group Bankruptcy Services is one of the largest bankruptcy outsource providers for banks and auto lenders, as well as files more Proof Of Claims than any other organization in the United States. Ascension Capital Group Bankruptcy Services also purchases bankrupt and/or probate paper from lenders.

If you happen to come across any types of these specific portfolios that your company would like to sell, we are looking to purchase bankrupt and/or probate accounts. For portfolios under $50 million, the entire portfolio we purchase needs to please be bankrupt and or probate paper, and must have a minimum of 40 secured accounts or 100 unsecured accounts to purchase. For a portfolio over $50 million, if the portfolio has a mix of bankrupt and non-bankrupt accounts, we will use one of our funding partners to provide a price back to you on the portfolio jointly with us to purchase the non-bankrupt portion of the portfolio.

Bankrupt and/or Probate Accounts That Qualify:
• Any bankrupt chapter type is acceptable (Chapter 7, Chapter 13, Chapter 11).
• Secured or unsecured bankrupt and/or probate accounts are acceptable.
• Acceptable motorized security includes automobiles, ATV, motorcycles, watercraft.
• Chapter 7 accounts must have a Reaffirmation Agreement filed with the court, or on secured accounts they should not be discharged yet which would allow us to work with the debtor’s attorney to file a Reaffirmation Agreement or repo the security.
• On Chapter 13 accounts the account must have a Proof Of Claim already filed, or the account can’t be past the bar date which would allow us time (a couple of days) to file the Proof Of Claim.
• On Probate accounts, the probate claim needs to have already been filed, or the account can’t be past the bar date which would allow time (a couple of days) for us to file the Probate Claim.
• We scrub the portfolios that we receive up against our bankrupt and probate database to check on the status of the accounts through the courts which allows us to provide a higher price on these types of accounts. In order to scrub the accounts, we need the customer’s name, home address, and preferably a social security number (we can also use the bankruptcy case number).

Thank you.
