More reliable... Cars fixed up? Or cars already good

Postby CarGuy99.11128 » Sun Jul 07, 2013 5:23 pm

I'm fairly small and don't have the feel like someone doing this a while...

In terms of JUST reliability is it better to buy a car with a big problem (of course at a discounted price) and to fix it up, rebuilt engine / transmission stuff like that.

Or is the car that is already in good condition more reliable?

Or is it about the same

With reconditioning cost through the roof these days I prefer to buy as ready as possible. I feel my money is better spent on the frontline ready car verses a project that I can only estimate repair cost as it comes through the lane.

I agree with Brownings.Although, half the time after I think I have bought a good one, I find serious problems when they get delivered,ha! Generally speaking though,it is better to buy a car ready to go even if it costs a bit more. You will have it for sale today instead of a week or two,and you never know how much repairs will cost.Dennis Combs Combs Car Corral Boise
